OUTDOOR SCREENINGS IN A MAGNIFICENT LOCATION
Villa Aragona, better known in Bagheria as Palazzo Cutò, is an emblematic example of Sicilian baroque architecture. Built in the 18th century for the Cutò princes, and belonging, among others, to Prince Giovanni Tomasi of Lampedusa, the author of “The Leopard”, this historic palace represents a cultural and artistic treasure, and we are proud that it is the main venue of the our festival.
Cultural Heritage: Palazzo Cutò is recognized as a place of extraordinary historical and architectural value.
Architect: Tommaso Maria Napoli, influenced by European models, especially those of Versailles.
Style: Sicilian Baroque, with large frescoed halls, refined decorative details and a breathtaking panoramic view.
A UNIQUE “CINEMA” FOR THE SCREENINGS OF THE BAARIA FILM FESTIVAL
A big screen: during the festival, the spaces at the back of the building are transformed into a stage dedicated to cinema and culture. Every evening, starting at 9pm, we will watch a screening on the large screen set up on the lawn.

Ample parking: if you come to the screenings by car, a large free car park awaits you just a few meters from the venue.
A stone’s throw from the train station: if you arrive at the screenings by train, Palazzo Cutò is just a few meters walk from the train station. An intelligent, economical and ecological way to reach us.
If you want to eat something before or after the screening: a few meters from the Venue there are restaurants, pizzerias and street food venues.
